Soak the rolls in cold water, remove the peel from the onion and garlic and chop finely. Mix minced meat with the squeezed out buns, onion and garlic, eggs and spices to a smooth dough and season. Shape the mixture into a roast. Spread a gratin dish with bacon, place the minced roast on it and cover with the remaining bacon slices. Bake in a heated oven at about 200 degrees for about 1 hour.

Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all of a good dish!
